Chancellor

Psalms 84:10 For a day in thy courts [is] better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. (Doorkeeper is an early term for Chancellor)

The world is changing and we are changing with it. Imagine, if you will, that men are on the way to the throne room of God. He is on the way to earth and He wishes there to be a chancellor.

Now a chancellor isn’t me. I am another person who will come later on. Perhaps as a writer or something.

No, the chancellor is Christ but the chancellor which is needed is of men. And so of all men on earth God wants one man to stand up and say “I’ll do it” and then God can begin to take them into the throne room of the Lord. And then God will speak with them as He would to a friend.

The chancellor is a position that is open. It is a job that is like an ambassador between earth and heaven. Or in some ways between earth and Heaven. It all depends on who is there to take this job.

The job qualities are those of men. They must be ambitious, willing, able and confident. They must be able to live with ability and with quality and with gift and with fruit. They must be men who are willing to go and do likewise. They must be a man who is without guile and without knowledge of self. That means self depreciating and not self promoting.

Such men are rare and such men are those that God desires to raise up. And such are the men who might read this. For God looks for a man who reads this by chance. And by chance is the one who sees it and knows “This is me” for this position is not yet open.

This position must be of one who is not able to confide in men. He must be a man who is willing to see and he must be a man who writes well.

The chancellor is not one who is willing to think hard. He must be one who is willing to act. And act is one who wishes to make big changes. And that is the one thing that God desires.

This man must be willing to change. He must be willing to relocate. He must be able to put aside everything in order for his life to have meaning. And he must be willing to go with the Lord on journey after journey without wondering if he will ever arrive.

For God doesn’t always tell me where they are going. And that means this man must be willing to travel to the past and the future without leaving home.

And if possible this man must travel to Eden and be willing to bare the gate without a key. And if that isn’t conceivable it simply means he must have strength to build a better key because the one that went to Eden was in men.

So that means God is going to lift up such a man and test him on the gate and if he can bend them then he is the one who is to be called Chancellor of Earth. And if that seems like a big job it is. And that means whoever or whomever is called will be called without title. He will have no title on earth. He will have no power on earth. Such a man must be willing to live anywhere that God desires. And that means a man who follows the will of the Lord.

And that means such a man must be willing to listen. And must be willing to triumph over evil. And must be willing to live with life and with hope and with joy. And those are the three things God requires.

And if there is an addition it means this man cannot marry a woman from earth. That isn’t hard for a monk but it would be hard for a man who holds the key to life and to death. Because Christ cannot be king of kings and chancellor of earth. He won’t have time. And the chancellor of earth isn’t the one thing this man was looking for. He looks for an answer to small things. He looks for an answer to life. He looks for an answer to things which are based on a true foundation.

In that respect he is wise because he doesn’t go after huge titles or big lands. He doesn’t seek after major gifts. Except one. And that is God. And God will not forget. God will not turn away. And God will grant to him this title. Simply because that title is the gift which only God can give.

So if there is such a man then that man should seek and should write and should pray when he can. And that means I, who am a simple man, wait for the day of His Glorious appearance. The day of return of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Finally there must be a man who sees things in light. He doesn’t have to take all things so seriously. He knows that God is God. He knows that Jesus is the Son. And he knows that the Holy Spirit is not, how shall we say, just a man. He knows that the Holy Spirit is God. And that is enough. At least for now.
